Like everyone, I also use references, but they often change completely from the original. Every now and then, however, it is fun and useful to try to remain as faithful as possible to the original.
Unfortunately I couldn't find the author of the reference photograph (if anyone knows him), I was very struck by the palette, the hairstyle and the reflective/dreamy pose.
Everyone has their own interpretation of him.
In the meantime, I had a lot of fun making it.
